done with art school
well, i'm officially done with my foray into art school.
had my final assesment today and i'll be leaving sunday morning.
said goodbye to a bunch of people in the studio today, many i will never see again, some i will. but this whole saying goodbye business makes it seem like my time here is finally coming to an end. i won't go on about my deeper musings over my experience, since largely i'm the only one who would care about such things (and i don't really all that much) and i know you all read this blog for it's non-stop-action-packed entertainment qualities.
but that raises a point: should i keep a blog going? i started this thing as a less invasive surrogate for mass e-mails but i have to admit, i do kind of enjoy it at times. bu when i'm back the reason for reading it is gone since the people who read it (except for a few mystery readers who have strange IP addresses) will be in normal conact with me once again.
i suppose i could rip off annie and turn this thing into a pop-culture commentary blog, but she's doing a fine job already. and if i continue to keep it as is (largely personal with the occasional cultural rant) i should probably change the name since i won't be "going scottish" for very much longer.
if you've got an opinion let me know, but what will probably happen is i'll keep it up for a few weeks into the summer then forget about it.
my last scottish entry will be on saturday, provided i make it into the library (which will happen if it keeps raining like it is now)
here's a picture since this post will be even more boring than it is without one (it's what comes up on google images if you type in "gone scottish"):
