this is what i meant to post yeaterday
when i went to post on here yesterday, the idea was i was going to talk about the return of television into my life after a week's absence, but i think i got side tracked photoshopping myself.
mark (the one that didnt leave) brought back a tv to the flat on sunday. it's only slightly newer than this one:

but it's a tv so it suits us. unfortunately, the damage has been done seeing as i've already missed the "playing it straight" finale (and i still don't know who won) and i've already found non-televisual ways of entertaining myself.
but when we got the replacement tv i promtly broke it while trying to tune it correctly, fortunately i fixed it again before anyone noticed it wass stuck on channel 5. but in order for them not to notice it was stuck, i had to pretend i was really into watching "3 ninjas: high noon on mega mountain"...yes, "mega mountain". it's part of the 3 ninjas series where toddlers and prepubecents beat up grown men. this one had hulk hogan too, and guess what he was playing: a washed-up former wrestler.
how prophetic.
last night also was the debut of "celebrity love island". it's only funny because the british "celebrities" that do these thing are along the lines of "night club owner". even my british flatmates had trouble recognizing all but a few of them.
well enough about tv, this is getting sad, i really haven't watched much since its return, mostly thanks to the weather.
note: just found out that the girl on "playing it straight" in fact chose a gay man and cried until he shared the money with her.
