pictures and end of 3rd week off

chris and lisa left this morning which means that my 4 week break has but one week left. i think i'll be spending it trying to write a paper that's not due until the end of the term, but we'll see.

i've posted pictures from my berlin-rome-venice trip. you can get to them by clicking on the dog to the right. the pictures include: an earless roman cat, a dead pigeon, a thirsty pigeon and a restful pigeon in addition to the usual "i went to rome berin and venice pictures". though there are some good ones among those as well. unfortunately the flickr thing messed up some of the names, partially erasing the occasional witty title. like the dog here was originally "dog on the sidewalk, dog on the sidewalk, i saw" but flickr saw it fit to replace most of it with a simple pound sign follwed by "BE9". not quite the impact it once had.

i thoroughly enjoyed my trip through europe and my italian got me by. but as the second half of my time in scotland begins, the job search has to kick into high gear and the budget has to tighten a bit.

i'll post some pictures from scotland taken during my travels with chris and lisa later, maybe monday.
