first of all i've found out how to post pictures again, with a little help from my ipod and "flikr". this picture is of IRN-BRU, its what coffee milk is to rhode island, except more so. my flatmate from glasgow (the others are from other areas in scotland) can't get enough of this stuff. it tastes like bubble gum mostly.

in other news, no rain today much to my surprise. and when its not raining with insane winds, the weather is quite nice.

i was quite pleased today when i found a new food store, "farm foods" (with a scottish accent it sounds like "foreign foods") this place is truly wonderful. it has brightened my next six months. it is full of extremely cheap frozen foods. this means i no longer have to eat canned stuff (yes, pork n' beans will still make an appearance on my menu) i can now eat frozen vegetables of many varieties and frozen chicken. on top of this hey have a large selection of cheap sauces with which to cover my soon evolving meals. goodbye can opener! hello farm foods!
